Meditation is not a skill or something that can be communicated verbally or taught within a given time period. It's not simply an activity that you do, but it's something which you experience yourself : it's something which happens to you, something that comes to you & becomes a part of your life when you sincerely apply yourself to a more conscious way of living. Even if one is an atheist, we need to understand that meditation has no religious or cult related origins : just like the breathing process is natural to all human beings to keep their bodies running, similarly, meditation in any of its many forms is simply any process which helps one to naturally realise the source & basis of our existence : something beyond our physical & mental bodies, along with creating possibilities of organising & enhancing our life energies to live better...
