EVENT TIMELINE:

Event is on 22nd February 2026, SUNDAY.

Depending upon the total participation strength, the event can start as early as 10:30A.M. in the morning & end by 8P.M. in the evening.

Participation form opens on 11th January 2026, Sunday.

Participation form closes 2 days before the event date OR as soon as our target 40 forms are filled up.

Once the form closes, we will co-ordinate with all the players on a first enrolment basis to allot their preferred game timings from the remaining time slots : Those who enrol late will not have too many time slot options to choose from.

For the purpose of transparency with all participants: The players list with their full legal name + a face identifier photo + birth year + their exact reporting time will be updated on this page 2 days before the event.

Those aiming to win & carry back a trophy + medal must ensure bringing in time & patience as we conduct our Felicitation Ceremony systematically at the end of all games along with proper photography + videography. The felicitation ceremony is aimed to be completed maximum by 8:30P.M.

TOURNAMENT GAME CATEGORIES:

Category # 1: Amateur Players:
This category is for all except the following 2 types of players:
Type-A: Those who have a past participation history in any Bowling Tournaments organised @ the State / National / International / Higher Level.
Type-B: Those who are the owner's / employees of any Bowling Alley.
Our logic is very simple: the above 2 types of players must compete in a category separate from the "Amateur Players" because such people get a lot of natural practice time to excel in this game.

Category # 2: Seasoned Players:
This category is for all who cannot compete in the above "Amateur Players" category.

NOTE:
Criteria violators who try to cunningly / forcibly enter the "Amateur Players" category will be evicted without any fee refund or replacement option or the option to change their category. We request everyone to carefully & honestly fill out the participation form so that you don't lose your hard earned money due to any negligence on your part: We have the support of some respected Seasoned Players who will be assisting us with an honest review of the final players lists to identify the above well defined "Seasoned Players".

Splitting into Additional categories:
Each of the above 2 categories will be further split into Men's Singles & Women's Singles categories,
IF & ONLY IF
the number of Women participants reaches 5 in a category.
In case there are less than 5 Women in any category, they will be competing jointly with the Men, but will be given an additional 20 points per game to account for the generally accepted physiological differences between the 2 genders.

TOURNAMENT CRITERIA, RULES & FORMAT:

1> Age criteria:
To participate in this event, you must be exactly 14 years or older as on the event date: 22nd February, 2026.

2> Shoes:
It is mandatory for all players to either wear the Bowling shoes available at the venue,
OR
They have to carry a clean pair of proper Bowling shoes with them to the venue & wear it only after the inspection & approval of the organiser.
BAREFOOT BOWLING WILL BE NOT ALLOWED. IN THE ABSENCE OF AN APPROVED FOOTWEAR FOR ANY REASON, THE PLAYER WILL BE EVICTED WITHOUT ANY FEE REFUND.

3> Warm up shots per player:
Before each game, each player will be given 2 warm up shots at the allotted Bowling Lane.

4> Initial Round: 2 Games per player:
In each format, all the players will be divided into random groups of up to 4 people in each group.
The groups are made only for the purpose of socialising & providing breaks to each player after each turn.
Each player in each group will be playing 2 full games: 1 game each in 2 different bowling lanes.
The sum total of scores of both the games of each player will be posted in the Leader Board of their category.

5> Final Round: 2 Games per top 3 players for each category:
The top 3 scorers from the Leader Board of each category will compete in the Finals of their category where they will play 2 games each: 1 game each in 2 different bowling lanes.

What is included in your participation fees?
Your share of event charges for:
Games

+ LiveStreaming
+ Refreshments
(Tea / Coffee / Energy Drink will be provided
+ 10% discount on Food & Beverages ordered @ the venue's cafe)
+ Trophies & Medals
+ Any other tournament organising costs.

What is NOT included in your participation fees?
- Food charges : We have not added the cost of providing any meal.
- Cash Prize pool contribution : This is not a cash prize event.

EVENT FOCUS:
To build a community of Bowling Enthusiasts in Kolkata with focus on the game & a good tournament experience rather than enticing people with food or cash prizes.

FEES PER PLAYER:
Timely entry fee till 15th February 2026:
INR 1200 (Rupees Twelve Hundred) per player.
Late entry fee from 16th February 2026:
INR 1400 (Rupees Fourteen Hundred) per player.
These fees are applicable for all whether or not they are a member of this event's venue: Space Circle Club.

We do not deal in cash transactions: please ensure paying the fees online along with the participation form hosted only on this page.

PRIZES:
The top 3 players per category will get:
A MEDAL + A TROPHY each,
+ After the event, we will update each player's scores & standings along with the Photo Album + Videos + LiveStream links on this page for a permanent record keeping.
